Seth Rollins Defeats Dominik Mysterio In A Street Fight At WWE SummerSlam

At WWE SummerSlam, Dominik Mysterio made his in-ring debut in a Street Fight against Seth Rollins. This match was the latest chapter in a heated rivalry between Rollins and the Mysterio family. Rey Mysterio accompanied Dominik to the ring. Rollins used his wrestling expertise to gain the upper hand early on.

Dominik hit an athletic arm drag and taunted Rollins. The Monday Night Messiah grounded Mysterio with some stomps and a slam. Murphy tossed Rollins a kendo stick, but Dominik grabbed it and chased Rollins. The Monday Night Messiah stopped Mysterio from using the weapon and regained control of the match. Rollins grabbed a chair and sat in it, mocking both Rey and Dominik. Dominik dodged a Stomp and sent Rollins face-first into the chair. A hurricanrana sent Rollins crashing into the corner, and a spinning DDT earned Dominik a two count.

Dominik hit repeatedly hit Rollins with a kendo stick, but Rollins dropped him with a superplex. Rollins brutally hit Dominik with a kendo stick several times. Rollins took too long to taunt Rey, which allowed Dominik to hit a Russian Legsweep with a kendo stick through a table. A Frog Splash earned Dominik a two count. Rollins floored Dominik with a superkick and dropped him with a powerbomb. The Monday Night Messiah hit Dominik with a kendo stick again. Dominik’s mother came to the stage, and Rey ran to talk to her. Dominik rolled Rollins up for a two count. Murphy dropped Dominik with a knee to the head and tried to blind him on the steel stairs. Rey attacked Murphy, and Rollins and Murphy ganged up on him. They handcuffed Rey to the ring ropes. Rollins turned his attention to Dominik’s mother and walked toward her. Dominik attacked Rollins and hit him with a 619. Rollins countered a Frog Splash and taunted the handcuffed Rey. The Monday Night Messiah hit Dominik with a Stomp to win the match.
