WWE star Roman Reigns has been noticeable by his absence on WWE television since WrestleMania 40, where he lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to rival Cody Rhodes.
This hiatus was further lengthened when Reigns, born Leati Joseph “Joe” Anoaʻi, had to deal with the tragic passing of his father, Sika Anoa’i, one half of the famed wrestling duo, the Wild Samoans. He passed away at the age of 79 on June 25th.
Sika’s memorial service was held recently. Stirring footage circulated online showcasing Reigns energetically partaking in a dance with his loved ones at the event. In a heartwarming tribute, several attendees were seen showering the dancing family with dollar bills.
When it comes to Reigns’ return to the WWE screens, speculation remains high. In his absence, The Bloodline member Solo Sikoa has temporarily taken over Reigns’ role as the Head of the Table.
