However, Steiner noted that the WWE creative team should have solid plans for NXT call-ups as it’s easy to “get lost in the shuffle.”

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On how well his nephew has picked up the business: “He’s picked it up quicker than I thought he would. There are so many intricate details you have to pay attention to. He was always a fan. He’d watch me on Nitro and then ride his bicycle over and then cut the same promo on me, to me. [Laughs]. ‘Come up with your own shit.’ I believe that’s probably good with interviews today, he’s been doing it for so long. Then, he copies all my shit, so that helps [laughs]. He’s very athletic. He was in Baltimore Ravens camp in the COVID year, which was tough because they had to learn by video and not on the field. He made it to the second to last cut. He did good. Then he got called a year after he started wrestling, but he was already making good progress in wrestling so he stayed at the Performance Center.”

On if Bron Breakker is ready for the main roster: “Do I think he’s ready? Yeah, but there’s no point in going up there if there are not any plans because there are so many people up there now with CM Punk coming back, Cody Rhodes, The Rock just came back for that Raw and it sounds like they might be doing WrestleMania with Rock and Roman Reigns. There are so many top-notch talents, it’s hard for them to find a spot for everybody. It’s better to stay down there (in NXT) instead of going up there (to the main roster) and getting lost in the shuffle. It’s better to go up when they have concrete plans for you.”

Scott Steiner, WWE Hall of Famer and uncle of former NXT Champion Bron Breakker, recently discussed his nephew’s progress in WWE on “The Two Man Power Trip” podcast. Steiner believes that Breakker is ready to be called up to the main roster, but emphasized the importance of the WWE creative team having solid plans for NXT call-ups to avoid them getting lost in the shuffle.

Steiner praised Breakker for how quickly he has picked up the business, noting that there are many intricate details to pay attention to in professional wrestling. He mentioned that Breakker was always a fan and would watch Steiner on Nitro before cutting the same promo on him. Steiner believes this experience has helped Breakker with interviews today. Additionally, Breakker’s athleticism was highlighted, as he had previously been in the Baltimore Ravens camp during the COVID year and made it to the second-to-last cut.

When asked if Breakker is ready for the main roster, Steiner expressed his belief that he is. However, he cautioned against going up without concrete plans in place due to the abundance of top-notch talent already on the main roster. With the recent returns of CM Punk and The Rock’s appearance on Raw, finding a spot for everyone can be challenging. Steiner advised that it’s better for Breakker to stay in NXT until there are specific plans for his main roster debut.

Steiner’s comments shed light on the importance of strategic planning when it comes to promoting NXT talent to the main roster. It’s crucial for WWE to ensure that call-ups are not lost in the shuffle and have a clear direction for their characters and storylines. This approach allows for a smoother transition and maximizes the potential of each talent.

As fans eagerly await Bron Breakker’s potential main roster debut, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles his promotion and if they have concrete plans in place for his future success.
