The Great British Bake Off is one of the most popular television shows out, and a major guilty pleasure for those in both the United Kingdom and the United States. One of those people who enjoy it, WWE superstar Sami Zayn, recently sat down with Metro UK to discuss the show, what he loves about it so much, and who his favorite Bake Off stars are.

Speaking about the show, Zayn revealed his love for 2018 Bake Off winner Rahul Mandal, stating that he was one of the best characters in any television show ever. “I think he’s one of the best TV characters of all time, from any show,” he said. “What a great character. It’s so funny, it’s a great show!”

Zayn also knows that there’s a celebrity version of the show, and might be interested in tossing his hat into the ring after some practice. “I recently learned there’s a Celebrity Bake Off,” he said. “So if there’s ever some sort of way for me to politic my way into it, I would look forward to that!”

“I’d have to practice a little bit, Also, being vegan I guess I’d have to wonder if I could use dairy products, or if I would use dairy products. I don’t know – it would be very interesting. I know they do a vegan week sometimes, but it’s few and far between. Anywho, I’d have to practice a little bit because I haven’t baked very much – ever, actually. But still, it’d be awesome!”

Whether or not Zayn ever makes an appearance on the show will remain to be seen, but it would be funny to see the superstar and his chaotic energy on a show that requires such precision and care. In the meantime, Zayn can be seen on Monday Night RAW, bringing his incredible energy to the ring as he continues to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship.
