Salt Lake City Snowstorm Reportedly Won’t Halt RAW
About five years ago, a massive snowstorm in Connecticut shut down Monday Night RAW. In its place, WWE aired a collection of interviews and replays from that year’s Royal Rumble PPV. This morning, similar reports seemed to swirl around tonight’s RAW taping in Salt Lake City, and many assumed they’d be in for a similar episode of WWE’s Monday night broadcast.

Fans took to Twitter to reach out to tonight’s venue, the Vivint Smart Home Arena. According to them, RAW will still go on as planned.

In an expanded statement, the arena says that road closures have not happened as of yet and that the show is still scheduled for regular broadcast.
"WWE is still happening. I have not heard of any road closures but I will check with our public safety team."
That's the direct quote from a spokesperson for the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

WWE has not issued a statement on the inclement weather as of yet, nor have they released a preview of the show on their website. We’ll all be watching tonight to see if Jerry Lawler gives a weather report or if the grappling will go on as usual.
