From the very start of the bout, both superstars got to work incredibly fast, trading big blows and innovative moves off the ropes and apron against each other. Eventually, the contest spilled to the floor and over the security barricade, where the two began fighting against the LED boards of the ThunderDome itself. While Ricochet was seemingly in control, Morrison’s partner, The Miz helped his ally gain the upper hand.

Late in the match, The Miz kept distracting Ricochet, using the drip stick to spray him every time it looked like Ricochet would land a big move. Thankfully for Ricochet, though, Riddle was also on hand to help out. At the end of the match, he grabbed The Miz’s wheelchair, flipped the former champion on his back and left him unable to get up. Ricochet then placed Morrison across a ladder and hit a high-risk splash through the ladder. The former WWE United States Champion then pinned Morrison for the win.
