After an injury scare, AEW’s Ricky Starks disappeared from the AEW screen for several months. His most recent appearance was during the March 30th showcasing of AEW Collision.
Starks insists he is not injured, but is unsure why AEW has chosen not to feature him. Nonetheless, AEW’s President Tony Khan recently conveyed his intention to bring Starks back into the spotlight.
As previously covered on eWn, Starks passed on a proposed storyline that would have seen him feuding with his ex-tag team mate, Big Bill. Starks felt that such a plot would not prove favourable to Bill.
During AEW Dynamite: Beach Break’s most recent installment, Starks shared a self-photo on Twitter. One viewer criticized the wrestler for supposedly diverting attention away from the highly acclaimed event.
The incensed fan tweeted, “stop chatting about the fantastic Dynamite – talk about me as I’m an attention-seeker.”
Starks fired back at the accusation, voicing his displeasure with the fan’s assumption, by retorting, “Kindly shut your mouth.”
