“Devils Announce Return of WWE Night | PRESS RELEASE
The Prudential Center will be the venue for WWE Night on April 8, hosted by The Devils
The New Jersey Devils today declared the redux of WWE Night on April 8, 2025. The Devils will face off against the Boston Bruins at Prudential Center in a game that starts at 7:00 PM ET. The event will be graced by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther who will team up with NJ Devil, the mascot, for a WWE-themed inaugural ceremony.
The game will be replete with WWE-related elements, such as special in-game videos, unique WWE graphics, and fan-favorite WWE music throughout the night. WWE artifacts will also be on display on the main concourse, featuring items like Seth Rollins’ referee shirt from SummerSlam 2024, complete body gear from SummerSlam 2015, and Mick Foley’s “Mankind” shirt, mask, and handcuffs from the SummerSlam 1996 Boiler Room Brawl.
Fans will have the opportunity to buy exclusive merchandise, including the WWE New Jersey Devils Legacy Title Belt, only available at the Devils Den Team Store.
Furthermore, Gunther, known for his menacing in-ring style, will be escorted to the ring as Dvořák’s “Symphony No. 9” resonates throughout the stadium. With victories over famous wrestlers like Ilja Dragunov, A-Kid, Joe Coffey, and Rampage Brown, Gunther held the WWE United Kingdom Championship title for over two years. After winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Gunther successfully defended the title against Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, one week later, Jey emerged victorious in the Royal Rumble 2025, selecting Gunther as his championship opponent at WrestleMania 41.
