In recent times, WWE wrestling icon Ric Flair commented on the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class, featuring several of his buddies and some high-profile names. This year’s roll of honorees includes Triple H, Lex Luger, Michelle McCool, and the Natural Disasters.
The Hall of Fame will also pay tribute to the epic WrestleMania 13 duel between Bret Hart and Steve Austin. On top of that, Dory Funk Sr., Kamala, and Ivan Koloff will be inducted into the Legacy Wing.
These new additions to the Hall of Fame were a hot topic when Flair guest-starred on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast. Below are some of the key points from the conversation:
Regarding the chances of Sting making an appearance: “My wish is for them to manage to arrange something. Luger and Sting have been inseparable friends for a lifetime. Both have a deep connection with me. I told Luger recently, ‘I should be present to narrate the story.’”
Expressions on Triple H and Michelle McCool’s names among the inductees: “I sent Hunter a message which went, ‘This is quite exciting.’ I greatly admire Michelle [McCool]. Hunter, needless to say, what can one say about him? I suggested to him three years prior, ‘You need to have this retirement match,’ and unfortunately, he fell seriously ill. He really fell sick.”
The freshly made documentary, WrestleMania IX: Becoming a Spectacle, unveiled on Peacock last weekend, brought to light an intriguing fact. WWE President Nick Khan once served as an usher at WrestleMania IX in 1993. This revelation piqued the interest of WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, who showcased the clip on his Twitter feed on Monday. This was his affirmation of the impressive journey of Khan. He wrote,
