Report: WWE Considering Pushing Back The Date Of WrestleMania 37

The year 2020 gave us the first WrestleMania event in front of no audience. Obviously, this is not ideal for an event the magnitude of WrestleMania. As the world of entertainment, and specifically pro-wrestling, continues to move in a fluid manner due to the uncertainty and ever-changing nature of the global coronavirus pandemic, the status of WrestleMania 37 remains just as up in the air.

Of course, the 2021 event is supposed to take place in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, but there have also been reports that the event may be moved to Florida, where this year’s event was supposed to take place and there is a desire to have a proper live audience in attendance. According to a new report from WrestleVotes on Twitter, there have been discussions within WWE about moving the scheduled date of Wrestlemania 37 from late-March to mid-April 2021 in the hopes that perhaps those extra few weeks will allow for more flexibility to have fans attend the show.

“There has been internal discussions about moving the scheduled date of WrestleMania from 3/28 to 4/11 or even 4/18. The goal remains to have fans in attendance for the event. The thought process of moving back the show a few weeks only helps that out,” the tweet states.

WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
