In the rapidly developing world of professional wrestling, Willow Nightingale is bracing herself for the defense of her TBS title. Her challenger is Tam Nakano, and their face-off is scheduled for STARDOM’s upcoming event, ‘Flashing Champions’, slated for May 18. The widely anticipated contest became official in the latest Show of AEW Collision.

Additionally, Atlantis Jr., a rising star in the realm of wrestling, recently shared his insights on an episode of WGN Radio 720. His conversation revolved around his February bout with Chris Jericho, a recognized figure in the wrestling industry, on an episode of AEW Dynamite. Expressing his excitement, he hopes the exposure will pave the way for him to get more opportunities in Tony Khan’s wrestling promotion. Atlantis Jr’s words were,

“I’m truly thrilled, mainly because CMLL is part of strong alliances. With alliances like MLW and AEW, I’m extremely thrilled because we’re about to introduce Mexican wrestling, and its unique style, to a new terrain where wrestling is experiencing a significant boom, particularly in the United States. Getting an opportunity to face off Chris Jericho was a long-held aspiration of mine. As a child, I remember using Chris Jericho’s character in the WWE video games. When CMLL informed me, ‘You have a solo match with Chris Jericho,’ I was taken aback, thinking ‘this must be a prank. However, hours later CMLL confirmed the match on social media, leading to a rush of adrenaline and nervous excitement. I am beyond pleased and am eagerly looking forward to more matches in AEW because I wish to gain more experience. The Mexican wrestling style significantly contrasts with the American one. Mexican wrestling is known for its swift movements and extensive jumping. On the other hand, American wrestling leans towards punches, clotheslines, and dropkicks. Being able to experience that with Chris Jericho, wrestling legend himself, was like living the dream for me. I owe deep gratitude to Chris Jericho for this incredible opportunity.”
