NXT is moving to Tuesday—but it’s only for one week.
NXT will tape a show on Tuesday, April 7 at Full Sail University; it was previously announced that NXT would be back at Full Sail on April 1 and 8. No other details were announced for the change but tickets for the taping go on sale Monday, March 2 at 10:00 AM EST.
WWE has not publicly announced the new taping schedule, but a ticket listing on the event page confirms the new date; the move is likely due to WrestleMania week events in the area. It would also be likely that this is a taped show that still airs in the normal Wednesday 8 pm EST time slot, going head-to-head with AEW.
NXT will miss a week of tapings at Full Sail in March due to another event at the school, but they have since announced the WWE Performance Center will host the March 11 show for a Fan Appreciation night.

Triple H spoke about the relationship between NXT and Full Sail on his media call ahead of NXT TakeOver: Portland, comparing the situation to a family.
“We have—Full Sail is one of our most valued partners in WWE. It’s a funny thing, at this point it’s almost like a family relationship than it is strictly a business relationship. To be honest, at this point in time I can’t even tell you if we have a contractual obligation to it at this point, but we’re at the point where we just have conversations. ‘Hey, here’s what we’re going to do…’ and when this opportunity came up, we feel like being here is a strength.
It’s a learning experience for everybody. People forget that what happens here benefits all of WWE. Through our partnership with Full Sail, we’re not just training in-ring talent. We have producers and directors that are doing WrestleMania now and that level of stadium shows, that cut their teeth on that job here, and wouldn’t have had that opportunity otherwise,” Triple H noted.
The partnership goes so far beyond all of that, ‘we’re just renting out your live facility every Wednesday’ and we value that partnership at the highest of levels. I really mean that across the board. Full Sail is like family to us.”
