Shelly Martinez, a former WWE superstar, has made a startling revelation that WWE is yet to fulfill its financial obligations to her.
In her latest appearance on the “Ring the Belle” podcast, she unveiled that the company still hasn’t paid her the money it owes her from her time there.
Martinez, who was known in WWE as Ariel, mentioned that the unfulfilled sum is less than 0. However, she insists on being paid, expressing interest in spending it on “tacos, cannabis, and vodka.” She said,
“Following WrestleMania, they scanned me for the game. I was elated. However, after my release and as time went by…people drew my attention to the game. Apparently, WWE was trying to reach me as they owed me some money. It wasn’t much, less than a hundred dollars. The truth of the matter is, WWE has tried to erase my existence. My presence wasn’t even acknowledged on their alumni page…but you owe me money. I’m not bothered about the amount, even if it’s less than 0. I have plans for that money, which include buying tacos, cannabis, and vodka.”
In another podcast “Casual Conversations with the Classic”, WWE Superstar Michin shared her story about meeting The Rock, revealing how significantly he has impacted her life. According to her,
“It was an emotional experience for me, to the point of tears, but I managed to tell him how he revolutionized my life. He’s the main reason why I fell in love with wrestling. Despite being overwhelmed by people trying to get his attention, he spared a few minutes to listen to my personal story and offer advice. The common advice is to not meet your heroes, but all my role models that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting have been nothing short of respectful and kind. The encounter with him made me his bigger fan. It was a truly memorable moment.”
