Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) has confirmed the death of Sondra Culbertson, the life partner of wrestler Nick Gage, who passed away at the age of 43. Culbertson was seen in an episode of ‘Dark Side Of The Ring’ outlining Gage’s career.
GCW expressed their sorrow at her death, stating, “GCW mourns the loss of Sondra Culbertson, the longtime partner and wife of Nick Gage. Sondra was a passionate and fierce member of the MDK Gang and was a loud & proud face in the crowd from day 1 of GCW/CZW. She was part of the GCW family and she will be remembered & missed.”
GCW’s founder Brett Lauderdale paid personal tribute, saying, “Those that knew her will never forget her. She had an unbreakable spirit, an infectious laugh and an attitude that never quit. She never lost an argument but it sure was fun to argue with her. I’m fortunate to have shared many laughs with her & Nick over the years. RIP Sondra”.
Practitioner Joey Janela acknowledged her enduring relationship with Gage, stating, “They were together for 26 years through the good and bad, Not many people can claim this in today’s world, true love. RIP to one of the realest, Sondra. Express your affection for the king, he adores you all!”.
