Nick Aldis Retains NWA Championship Against Mike Bennett

During tonight’s debut of the United Wrestling Network Premiere Live pay-per-view series, Nick Aldis and Mike Bennett battled it out for the NWA Championship, where Aldis came away with a big win to retain the belt.
Despite a back-and-forth match between the two superstars, it was Aldis who dominated enough late to grab the win. Towards the end of the match, Aldis caught Bennett in mid-air, trapping him in the Texas Cloverleaf on the mat. To Bennett’s credit, he initially refused to give up, but eventually began to pass out, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
