Earlier this year, following the shutdown of the league due to the Coronavirus, Vince McMahon’s XFL completely folded and entered bankruptcy. Off the back of this, Oliver Luck, League CEO, sued Vince McMahon for wrongful termination.

A new document released shows that there was a guaranty put in place that Vince McMahon would “irrevocably and unconditionally” pay Luck via the XFL’s parent company, Alpha Entertainment. The document would go on to reaffirm that this would be absolute and unconditional.

The documents, via Darren Heitner on Twitter, can be seen below:

A major issue in Oliver Luck v. Vince McMahon may be XFL parent company not giving Luck an opportunity to cure alleged material breaches.

XFL's termination letter notified Luck that contract was "being terminated, effective immediately." Should have provided 30 day opp to cure. pic.twitter.com/20k9ddjAbC
