Joe Hendry Sings About The Re-Opening Of McDonald’s In True Britpop Fashion

Today is going to be the day that you hear the parody you need.
By now, you should have realized that this must involve Joe Hendry.
I don’t believe that anybody knew they needed this…
Until now.

Joe Hendry made a name for himself with light-hearted parody songs concerning the opponents that he would be stepping in the ring with. Now, he is applying his Weird Al Yankovic-level parody skills to celebrate the reopening of McDonald’s drive-thrus on May 15th.

To celebrate this, Joe Hendry has, of course, chosen the Oasis smash hit, Wonderwall as the song to parody. While the singing is in tune and the lyrics are fun, perhaps the biggest takeaway is that Joe and the person in the video playing guitar chose to emulate the sibling rivalry of Liam and Noel Gallagher which ultimately saw Oasis meet its demise.
