New Andre The Giant Biography ‘The Eighth Wonder of the World’ Set For Release Next Week
Andre The Giant‘s legendary life and career will be profiled in a new definitive biography set for release next week.
ECW Press announced the publication of The Eighth Wonder of the World: The True Story of André the Giant, which will be released on April 14, 2020. The book is co-written by Pat Laprade and Bertrand Hébert. Laprade was a field producer for HBO’s André the Giant documentary, and Hébert also co-authored Mad Dog: The Maurice Vachon Story and Pat Patterson’s biography, Accepted.
Highlights in the book include detailing Andre’s battle with acromegaly, his role in The Princess Bride and how he became a crossover star, and new, exclusive interviews with his family and friends.
