A Broken Jaw Won’t Stop Brian Pillman Jr., Calls Injustice ‘A Bunch Of Idiots’ (Exclusive)

You can’t stop Brian Pillman Jr. from flying for long.

“The Rogue Prince” of MLW took time during the quarantine to chat with WrestleZone’s Dominic DeAngelo and discuss the most recent attack that was made on him by Injustice while he was outside of the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Myron Reed, Jordan Oliver and Kotto Brazil stomped Pillman’s head on top of a wayward cinder block, giving the PWI 2019 Rookie of The Year a broken jaw and leaving the young faction suspended for their actions (with a $10,000 fine each to boot).

In this exclusive interview, Brian starts off by speaking to DeAngelo about the attack and how it doesn’t thwart his aspirations of going for the MLW Middleweight gold that is around Reed’s waist.

“I guess I shouldn’t be talking, my jaw should be wired shut,” Pillman said, “it’s one of those things where I get knocked down ten times. I’m always technically one step ahead of them and they know that and they know that I’m a guy that’s been through so much adversity in my life that there’s nothing that they can do to stop me.”

He knows from experience that Injustice isn’t about fair and squared circle competition in between the ropes.

“They wanna come in there and they wanna start trouble and they wanna fight. They don’t want to wrestle, they don’t wanna lock up, they’re a bunch of idiots,” he said, knowing that the trio has more of an axe to grind with him when they consider the success he’s had in MLW up to this point.

“Right now they’re too worried about their resentment towards me and they don’t think I deserve all the things that I’ve been getting and all the opportunities but quite frankly, Myron Reed holds the MLW Middleweight Title so he’s had his fair share of opportunities otherwise he wouldn’t be holding that title so I think it’s about time that a Pillman holds that Middleweight Title.”
