MLW ‘War Chamber’ to Feature Virus vs. Star Jr. Match and Stipulations Revealed for KOPW Title Match at WrestleCon

Virus (w/ Cesar Duran) vs. Star Jr. (w/ Salina de la Renta) as a CMLL showcase match has been added to the beIN Sports TV taping portion of MLW ‘War Chamber’ from the Coliseum in St. Petersburg, FL on Friday, March 29.

Great-O-Khan will defend the KOPW championship against Tanga Loa on the Road to Sakura Genesis tour on March 31.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Khan and Loa revealed their choices for match stipulations, which the fans will vote on.

Loa picked a “King of Kaiju” match, which is a Texas Deathmatch.

Khan opted for a “Rural Revitalization Match in Hamamatsu,” a two-out-of-three falls match with the following rules:

* Round one will be under a ten-minute time limit most covers rules. Every pinfall attempt will count as one point in the scenario.

* Round two will be an eating contest, with the local specialty of eel being the focus for five minutes.

* Round three will see the two connected via a strap with the winner having to touch all four corners consecutively to win.

Voting will close on March 31 at 10:00 AM JST.

And finally, WrestleCon has announced that the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA is sold out. The event will be held on April 5.
