During Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone provided an update on FTR following their ladder match with The Young Bucks at the Dynasty 2024 pay-per-view event.

Schiavone announced that Harwood was ‘banged up’ but will be back soon. On Friday, it was reported that Harwood suffered a concussion in the match.

Taking to Twitter, Harwood wrote,

“I appreciate all the texts & tweets. I’m feeling much better today. See y’all soon!”

Bryan Danielson is also banged up, according to his wife and WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella.

On a recent edition of “The Nicole & Brie Show,” Brie Garcia gave an update on Bryan Danielson by saying her husband was ‘hurt’ but ‘good’. She said,

“I watched, and yes, a lot of moments I was like, ‘Your neck. I was so scared.’ Obviously, he walked away healthy from the match. I shouldn’t say healthy, he did hurt himself. I think everyone knows, he did fall on his neck. He’s good. Not like anything where he is out of the ring and getting surgery. He landed on it a certain way. You wrestle hard and unfortunately, he’s going to be 43 on May 22nd, your body does things. I saw a lot of people online say the same thing, it’s probably one of the best matches in pro wrestling history, I’m just gonna be that cocky. Some are saying ‘in the United States, the best pro wrestling match in the United States.’ Better than any match so far this year. I agree. I think Bryan and Will, their chemistry and story, they are both such stars. It just got you fired up. When I watched the match, I told Bryan, ‘I got fired up. Fired up!’“

FTR and Bryan Danielson Banged Up but on the Road to Recovery

During the highly anticipated ladder match between FTR and The Young Bucks at the Dynasty 2024 pay-per-view event, both teams left it all in the ring. However, it seems that the intense battle took a toll on the competitors, as FTR’s Dax Harwood suffered a concussion, while Bryan Danielson ended up hurting his neck.

Tony Schiavone, the commentator for AEW Collision, provided an update on FTR’s condition during Saturday night’s episode. He announced that Harwood was “banged up” but assured fans that he would be back in action soon. This news comes after reports emerged on Friday about Harwood’s concussion, which raised concerns among wrestling enthusiasts.

Harwood himself took to Twitter to address the situation and express his gratitude for the support he received. In his tweet, he wrote, “I appreciate all the texts & tweets. I’m feeling much better today. See y’all soon!” This statement from Harwood should provide some relief to fans who were worried about his well-being.

On the other hand, Bryan Danielson’s wife and WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella shared an update on her husband’s condition during an episode of “The Nicole & Brie Show.” Brie Garcia revealed that Danielson was indeed hurt during the match but clarified that it wasn’t a severe injury requiring surgery. She mentioned being scared for his neck at certain moments but emphasized that he walked away from the match in good overall health.

Garcia also expressed her admiration for the match, claiming it could be considered one of the best in pro wrestling history. She praised the chemistry and storytelling between Danielson and his opponent, Will Ospreay, stating that their performance got her fired up. Many fans echoed her sentiments, declaring it the best match in the United States so far this year.

While injuries are an unfortunate part of professional wrestling, it is reassuring to hear that both FTR and Bryan Danielson are on the road to recovery. Their dedication to their craft and willingness to push their bodies to the limit is a testament to their passion for entertaining the fans. As they heal and prepare for their next battles, supporters can eagerly anticipate their return to the ring, where they will undoubtedly continue to deliver thrilling performances.
