Former AEW World Champion MJF recently divulged details about securing his role in Happy Gilmore 2 on the “SI Media” podcast. MJF will portray Gordie Gilmore, a character who is one of Happy’s sons, in the movie.
MJF attributed his success landing the part to his talent and the effective representation of Activist and CAA. He stated, “First of all, it all starts by having ‘it’, which is something that I have that almost nobody else in the industry has today. A lot of people try to manufacture it with neat music, pyro, interesting taunt, or catchphrase. I was born with it. I got the audition because I am very talented and I have very good representatives.”
During the audition process, MJF amused Adam Sandler to the point of uproarious laughter and Sandler suggested MJF for another role. MJF is thrilled about his role and he enthusiastically stated, “I auditioned for that role and I got that role, which is a big role in the movie. I’m very, very, very excited for the movie to come out.”
In another development, Ace Austin, during his conversation with “WhatCulture Wrestling,” talked about the likelihood of him joining WWE considering its collaboration with TNA Wrestling. Austin appeared confident of his pay-per-view appearance under the WWE banner and mentioned, “I would say it’s more than a chance. I would say, what’s the word on the tip of my tongue, what’s the word, I would say it’s inevitable. If you want the best from TNA, then you can’t look any further than me.”
