Ronda Rousey left WWE after a match with Shayna Baszler at the SummerSlam 2024 event. Since distancing herself from the organization, Rousey has been vocal in expressing her dissatisfaction, issuing several critiques of WWE. Analogously, Mercedes Mone has developed a perception that Rousey possesses a greater degree of bitterness than WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart.
Rousey provides an in-depth chronicle of her WWE experience in her book, “Our Fight”. She offers unvarnished viewpoints on her stay in the billion-dollar wrestling company, making harsh comments about Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis, suggesting them to “screw themselves”. Additionally, she claims that WWE discriminated against women.
Conversely, while Hart is known to voice out controversial opinions, not everyone necessarily agrees with him. Regardless of speculation about his possible resentment towards certain aspects of his wrestling history, Hart declares his perspectives with an understanding that they might not be universally accepted. Still, some view him as a bitter character.
Recently, during a chat with “Z100 New York”, Mone was requested to analyze and contrast Rousey and Hart in terms of bitterness.
Without any sign of doubt, Mone, the reigning AEW TBS Champion, named Rousey as the one she thinks carries more bitterness presently, surpassing the highly regarded WWE Hall of Famer.
While she was with WWE, Rousey sought similar travel freedoms as Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Currently, however, the former UFC/WWE superstar seems to be preoccupied with ventures outside wrestling, suggesting a shift in priorities.
