Max Caster, a member of the popular wrestling group The Acclaimed, has asserted that AEW intentionally erased a line from his spontaneous freestyle performance. The omitted lyric reportedly mentioned Luigi Mangione, presently undergoing trial for purportedly masterminding the attack on United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a case that has been stirring substantial controversy.
In a recent update on his Twitter account, Caster claimed that the particular line was conspicuously missing from the latest edition of AEW Rampage, marking the conclusion of the much-watched Friday night program for the moment.
The disputed line is quoted as follows here:
“Assuming ignorance when it comes to the learning tree, Jericho is too elevated, seems like he is blazing up trees,” He’s getting hit like a bidi. Bowens illuminates you as if he had Luigi’s identity,” and “Ensure your welfare is secure as if you were employed by United Healthcare.”
Observably, Caster has a history of stirring controversy with his lyrics, such as his infamous 2021 line about Simone Biles, which many interpreted as a mockery of her mental health issues.
Caster has been an integral part of AEW since 2020, earning acclaim as a previous AEW World Tag Team and Trios Champion.
