Kevin Sullivan, the esteemed wrestler and booker previously associated with WCW, has recently endured a distressing accident that has placed considerable strain on him both physically and financially.
It was on May 12, 2024, in Florida, where Sullivan was scheduled for autograph signings, that he faced a catastrophic accident. Quick intervention and emergency surgery played a pivotal role in saving his life and preserving his leg. Despite the successful surgery, Sullivan developed serious complications, including sepsis and encephalitis.
This sorrowful incident has prompted a severe financial crisis onto his family. Amid frequent consciousness lapses, Sullivan’s treatment is continuing in the ICU, a substantial distance from his home, adding to the family’s woes.
To provide some relief from the mounting medical expenses, a crowdfunding campaign has been set up on GoFundMe. Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), to date, has been the most significant donor, contributing ,000 to the fund. You can view the GoFundMe page and make a donation here.
Our team at eWn sends our heartfelt wishes to Sullivan for a swift recovery.
The tweet from Conrad the Mortgage Guy illustrates the severity of the situation:
“The Taskmaster needs our help y’all. Always the fighter, Kevin has been battling some serious health challenges these past few months. He ain’t slowing down, but unfortunately, neither are his medical expenses. Kevin’s family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover some of those…” – Conrad the Mortgage Guy (@HeyHeyItsConrad), July 5, 2024.
