In a recent episode of the “Against All Odds” podcast, Kevin Owens shared that on a WWE Topps trading card, he once inscribed the message, “Don’t follow us at the airport.”
Owens explained, “There is one that I don’t think anybody has found yet. I just wrote, ‘Don’t follow us at the airport.’ It’s ironic because a lot of people that do that are the ones that want to get the cards signed. Hopefully, they get the message. We love our fans, but when we’re coming off a flight or rushing to get to a building, it’s the last thing we need, to have a meet and greet at baggage claim.”
Recently, Owens disclosed his decision to take a hiatus from professional wrestling due to impending neck fusion surgery. There isn’t a confirmed date for his return to the ring.
Consequently, The Prizefighter, as Owens is fondly known, will be absent from WrestleMania 41 and will not face off against Randy Orton.
