Joey Janela Finds Stolen Ring Gear, Auctioning Off For Good Cause
Joey Janela is turning an unfortunate situation into a positive one.
Janela had his car broken into two weeks ago in Philadelphia, and his wrestling gear had been stolen as a result. Janela posted a new update, revealing his ring gear and promo photos were found on the side of a street in Philadelphia, and while the photos were ruined, the apparel is salvageable. Janela says he’s going to get the tights cleaned and framed, and will auction them off to benefit the Hazlet’s Hope charity.
So in an odd twist @CalluxPW found my tights on the side of the road in Philadelphia. So how about this I get them cleaned up, framed up. & auction them off for a good cause. @HazletsHope provides rehab & resources for recovering Opioid addicts, Something that hits home for me.
Janela also noted these specific tights were ring-worn in matches against Jon Moxley and David Starr, as well as a triple threat against Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin (the Cracker Barrel Clash at AEW All Out).
