Professional wrestling superstar, AJ Styles, who carved a niche for himself as an integral part of TNA Wrestling between 2002 and 2013, making it to Grand Slam Champion status, has expressed his wish to make a returning guest appearance in TNA. However, he remains unsure whether this aspiration will indeed come to life.
Styles made this disclosure during his recent participation in the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast. He revealed his longing to step back into the TNA ring, saying,
“I don’t know. I’d like to. I think it’d be fun to do something like that, like a one-off. I would definitely do it.”
Further, Styles shared his perspective on the exclusive mindset in WWE, stating, “He [Vince] never watched any matches outside of WWE because nothing else existed except for WWE,” said AJ. He went on to share his thoughts on the need for evolution in the wrestling industry, the significance of opportunities for wrestlers in different wrestling associations, and how these can be mutually beneficial for everyone involved.
“…People are going to go where there’s an opportunity to better their lives. He also reflected on his departure from New Japan and how inter-organizational experiences contribute to a wrestler’s growth. “…Omos was just in NOAH. He’s going to learn over there, and he’s going to bring that back to WWE. It’s going to work well for him in WWE, the things that he didn’t know. You learn different styles. It’s good.”
