On CM Punk possibly returning to WWE: “I thought he was really hot at one time, he’s not nearly as hot now as he was then, but they can still make some money with that kid if done right, but there’s so much about attitude check, especially up in WWE. I’ve heard Vince [McMahon] say the words come out of his mouth, ‘I can’t F with them if they don’t work for me.’ He hired people just to F with them, well damn.”

On never having a problem with CM Punk backstage: “I didn’t have a problem with him that’s why I am so surprised in a lot of the drama and it makes me wonder if a lot of it is a work, especially the recent stuff, but, I never had a problem with him, he was very polite to me.”

During a recent appearance on “Ikuzo’s Unscriptify Podcast,” Tyler Breeze recalled working with Adam Cole in WWE NXT.

Breeze used to be worried about not taking Cole’s Panama Sunrise finisher safely.

On working with Adam Cole: “I was working with Cole, and I went, ‘I don’t know if I can take your little Canadian Destroyer, I don’t know if I can take it.’ Now, you see a lot of them. Before it used to be a big deal, now it’s not really a thing.”

On worrying he couldn’t take it safely and make it look good: “I see people and they would take it crazy and I went, ‘I don’t know how you do that. I don’t know if I can do that safely and make it look good.’ Me, personally, I wouldn’t be worried so much about me getting hurt because he’s never hurt anybody with it, but I just don’t think I can make it look as good as I’d want to, so I would be like, ‘Hey, if you do something else, I can make it look really good and I’d rather do that one,’ not so much scared to take it or as a danger thing, just more of a, I’d hate to build a really good match and just let the air out of it by taking a bad move that looks like crap.”

The Status of CM Punk Following His AEW Firing and the Possibility of a WWE Return

Former WWE referee Nick Patrick recently discussed the current status of CM Punk following his firing from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and the potential for him to return to WWE. Patrick shared his thoughts on Punk’s popularity and the challenges he may face if he were to make a comeback.

According to Patrick, CM Punk was once a hot commodity in the wrestling industry, but his popularity has waned over time. However, Patrick believes that WWE could still capitalize on Punk’s star power if they handle his return correctly. He also mentioned that there is a lot of emphasis on attitude in WWE, with Vince McMahon reportedly saying, “I can’t mess with them if they don’t work for me.” This suggests that WWE may have hired individuals solely to create drama and conflict within the company.

Despite the rumors and controversies surrounding CM Punk, Nick Patrick revealed that he never had any issues with Punk backstage during their time together in WWE. Patrick expressed surprise at the drama surrounding Punk and speculated that some of it might be part of a storyline or work. He described Punk as a polite individual who never caused any problems during their interactions.

In a separate interview on Ikuzo’s Unscriptify Podcast, wrestler Tyler Breeze shared his experience working with Adam Cole in WWE NXT. Breeze admitted that he initially had concerns about taking Cole’s signature move, the Panama Sunrise, safely. However, he noted that the move has become more common in wrestling today and is no longer seen as a major risk.

Breeze explained that he was worried about executing the move properly and making it look good in the ring. He observed other wrestlers performing the move in an intense manner but felt unsure if he could do it safely while still maintaining its visual impact. Breeze preferred to suggest alternative moves that he could execute more effectively to avoid compromising the quality of their matches.

In conclusion, the status of CM Punk following his departure from AEW remains uncertain. While his popularity may have diminished, there is still potential for him to make a successful return to WWE if handled properly. Nick Patrick’s comments shed light on the backstage dynamics and the emphasis on attitude within WWE. Additionally, Tyler Breeze’s experience with Adam Cole highlights the considerations wrestlers make when performing signature moves to ensure both safety and visual appeal.
