Imperium Defeats Breezango To Retain NXT Tag Titles

The duo of Breezango took on Imperium tonight to kick off NXT, with the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line. While Breezango came awfully close to winning at times, they were unable to walk away as the winners, as Imperium retained their belts in a thrilling opener.
Things ended for Breezango when Indus Sher came down to the ring to interfere. After getting in a staring match, Indus Sher was attacked by Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. In the chaos, Fandango attempted to roll up Barthel, but since Barthel wasn’t the legal man, it didn’t matter. Aichner quickly stepped in, delivering a nasty DDT to Fandango for the win.
