FTR has issued a (mostly) open challenge for the AAA World Tag Team Championship on the November 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.

During AEW Dark on Tuesday night, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood cut a promo in which they explained that they want to prove that they’re Lucha legends. The two threw down the gauntlet by saying they’ll put the titles on the line against any luchadores other than the Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero M.) FTR emphasized that they want to face new contenders, and they’ve already defeated the Lucha Bros.

#FTR are out to prove they are Lucha #LivingLegends and @DaxFTR + @CashWheelerFTR are issuing an open challenge to any luchadores for their @luchalibreaaa Tag Team Titles TOMORROW on #AEWDynamite with one exception: No #LuchaBros.

In a subsequent tweet, Harwood called out La Parka and Super Calo, actual living legends in the Lucha realm, and stated that he doesn’t care who answers the call.

FTR controversially won the titles from the Lucha Brothers, who challenged the champions to a title bout at AEW Full Gear. The bout hasn’t been confirmed for the pay-per-view yet, but it seems like the two teams are on a collision course.

The updated card for AEW Dynamite is as follows:

  • AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament: Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley
  • AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament: Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade El Idolo
  • Open Challenge for AAA World Tag Team Championship: FTR (c) vs. TBA

WrestleZone will have full coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on Wednesday.
