Former IMPACT Wresting and ROH Superstar Jimmy Rave revealed some bad news on social media over the weekend, announcing his retirement from pro wrestling.

Rave said that his doctors found an infection in his left arm and had no choice but to amputate the arm. He gave a heartfelt thanks to everyone that supported him over the years and opened his DM’s to those that wanted to reach out with questions or comments.

Check out the full announcement below. Rave was apart of ROH from 2003-2007 and later wrestled in IMPACT sporadically between 2007 and 2013. He’s been in the indies since 2013. As far as his accomplishments go, he was ranked the 181st best pro wrestler in the world by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2009. He’s held multiple independent championships.
