EC3 recently spoke with Chris Van Vliet and reflected on his recent work with IMPACT Wrestling and Ring of Honor. In one highlight, he talked about his promo with ROH not having a crowd and how it affected his delivery.
“You don’t know if something is good or bad, succeeding or failing. And then in hindsight, I think not having a crowd, like you said it was a monologue, it was very interesting it was very unique and I was very proud of that. What’s great about Ring Of Honor is they allow talent to create so they didn’t—they very much trusted me. This is our first time working together to go out there and do me and I thank them for that because doing me, I can do the best me possible so, interrupted and the trust they had and it worked out.”
EC3 also addressed his match with Jay Briscoe at Final Battle getting canceled due to him being in quarantine.
“I will miss that match and I don’t want to because I really want to find out if honor is real and I do plan on finding if honor is real in January. Out of all the promotions out of all the things we talk about within the wrestling world and the art form or the pure combat sport that is wrestling, Ring Of Honor is the best wrestling in the world. And is there still honor within the ring? I don’t know. I’m dying to find out. I know there’s not honor outside the ring, I’ve been in many places that have shown me that fact. But does honor still exist in the ring?”
