Pete Dunne has returned to his origin as a villain, after launching an attack on Sheamus this week during WWE Monday Night Raw.

In the previous week, Bronson Reed triumphed over Pete Dunne, and was on the verge of delivering another Tsunami, when The Celtic Warrior intervened. Dunne didn’t seem overly grateful for Sheamus’s intervention and expressed his dissatisfaction more vehemently this week.

This evening, after Sheamus emerged victorious over Bronson Reed, Dunne appeared ostensibly to assist his past partner. However, he shunned a handshake, and then, ambushed Sheamus from behind.

In the face of the negative crowd reaction, Dunne seemed unfazed, merely exhibiting an indifferent “meh”.

With Tyler Bate sidelined due to a ruptured pectoral muscle, New Catch Republic is at a standstill. The potential of The Brawling Brutes returning was briefly considered, but this incident proved otherwise.
