The WWE Hall of Fame celebrity and one-time U.S President, Donald Trump is now slapped with a guilty verdict over 34 major counts of business records falsification.
The jurists of the Manhattan court pronounced the guilty verdict on the controversial 45th President at 5:05PM EST this past Thursday. Trump, currently a primary Republican nominee, is also caught in a net of several other grave allegations.
Trump, famed for his celebrity showcase in WWE WrestleMania 23, stands accused of manipulating records to blur payments made as hush money. These payments, amounting to 0,000 in total, were forwarded to adult film personality Stormy Daniels through his former attorney Michael Cohen.
With this verdict, Trump has the dubious distinction of being the first past President to be found guilty of a grave offense. This verdict strips him of certain rights and privileges including the ability to vote for himself, to serve in any military capacity, to obtain security clearance or to travel to a majority of foreign territories.
Though a challenge against the court’s decision by Trump is anticipated, the scheduled sentencing is on July 11th.
