Asuka and Kairi Sane joined forces with Damage CTRL on Friday Night SmackDown after Sane forgave Bayley for putting her out of WWE in 2020, leading to a group hug between The Pirate Princess and Damage CTRL.
This resulted in a six-woman tag team match main event where Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka teamed up to face IYO SKY, Sane, and Bayley.
During the match, Belair wanted to tag in Asuka but The Empress of Tomorrow pulled back and misted the “EST” of WWE.
Asuka then hugged her former Kabuki Warriors partner in Sane, and SKY and Bayley joined in following some encouragement.
The group then took out Belair and Flair, as well as Shotzi who came down to rescue the babyfaces.

Santos Escobar turned his back on the LWO, laying out former WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
Escobar walked away from the faction after Carlito accused him of being responsible for Mysterio’s title loss to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel 2023.
Escobar had accidentally left brass knuckles in the ring, and Paul was able to use them to dethrone Mr. 619 and win the United States Championship.
Carlito later lost to Bobby Lashley on SmackDown. The Street Profits and Lashley attacked Carlito following the match while Escobar stood by.
Mysterio made the save with a chair and then checked on Carlito before Escobar attacked the Hall of Famer.
Escobar and Mysterio argued for a brief moment before Escobar manhandled the veteran wrestler, who hit him and sent him to the floor.
Mysterio followed up but Escobar smashed him against the ring post and kicked the ring steps into his leg.
Zelina Vega then got in Escobar’s face and he walked away, declaring that “Rey had it coming.”
