Conor McGregor’s Next Fight Confirmed, Teases WWE Run Again
Former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor made headlines this week.
First up is his pro-MMA career as he held a press conference in Ukraine for a sponsor. This is where he made some interesting comments.
McGregor confirmed that he will be stepping back inside of the Octagon for his next fight. While he doesn’t have an opponent quite yet, he will fight on January 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena.
McGregor was asked about his future after he is finished fighting in the UFC. He would respond by bringing up acting and a potential jump to WWE.
ESPN reporter Marc Raimondi tweeted out the following including the quote:
Conor McGregor was asked at the press conference today in Ukraine about his future after the UFC. He mentioned Hollywood and “maybe the WWE.” McGregor: “I’ve had a bit of beef with those guys over the years.”

McGregor hasn’t appeared on WWE television before but has teased making the move in the past. In fact, he has said some harsh words to WWE stars.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has pitched many times that she would like to be McGregor’s partner in a tag team match.
Time will tell whether McGregor makes the jump.
