The Packaging

Each figurine comes in a very vibrant, colorful box with images of several of the other figurines on the box. We also get to see the new Iconic Matches 2-packs that feature very similar style packaging. They all come with a very nice booklet with information about the superstar(s) with images, information and more. The figurines are also very protected by plastic to prevent them from being damaged in transit, storage, etc. Not to mention the rings, that are packaged as half a ring, where you have to buy two to make a full ring depending on how you want to display them.

Shawn Michaels & Undertaker

First we will take a look at the very first Iconic Matches 2-pack featuring two of my favorites, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. This is based on their WrestleMania 25 match, which was epic! You can see their box is a much wider box to house both of them, HBK in his iconic pose while Taker sets up for the chokeslam. Their booklet they come with more than likely talks about their match as well as them. I didn’t open it for this review as I like to keep the booklets mint in the package.

Once removed from the packaging you can see the crazy detail on them for their size. If you’re unfamiliar with these they are almost like chess pieces or fancy paperweights as they are mini statues, which are fragile, but are heavily detailed. The likeness on HBK is great and the detail in his vest and pants is quite impressive. Undertaker is also pretty detailed with his tattoos to his pants designs and even the different colors on his gloves. His likeness is pretty good, but not my favorite. They both have their name on a sticker underneath their stand, which also has felt on it to prevent from sliding.

Overall, this 2-pack style is really nice. It’s a great way for them to recognize some iconic matches from history as well as provide us with some awesome figurines for our collection. If you love these two like I do I highly recommend picking this one up!

Roddy Piper

Piper’s first figurine features a young version of him with his longer hair. He’s sporting his iconic “Hot Rod” t-shirt and his blue knee pads, red kilt with the belt plus his burgundy boots. He also has his hands on his hips, which was typical Piper fashion. The likeness is pretty good for a young Piper in my opinion. Piper also has his name on a sticker underneath his display stand, which also has felt on it to prevent it from sliding.

Overall, Piper is pretty nice. The detail on his is decent for a pretty simple look, too. If you were a fan of his I recommend adding him to the Legends collection!

Alexa Bliss

Alexa’s figurine looks pretty good, too. She is super detailed, from the skull-design gloves to her outfit from head to toe and even the color in her hair. She even has her belly piercing painted on, which is a great attention to detail. While her likeness is okay, the detail on the figurine itself is great. One issue though are the paint apps on her hands. You could always touch this up yourself of course and being the scale of these it can be a bit challenging, but mine doesn’t have the best paint job as you can see in the gallery below. She also has his name on a sticker underneath her display stand, which also has felt on it to prevent it from sliding.

Overall, besides the paint app issue I still think it’s a pretty good figurine of her. Some of the detail on this you will not see on her main action figures honestly. If you’re a fan of hers I recommend picking it up, but do be cautious of the paint apps if you’re very anal about that stuff.

Pete Dunne

Pete has been pretty sought after from the sounds of it based on collector chatter. He features his black attire while doing his iconic pose with his fist on his cheek. His vest is super detailed, too, as it has the fur and even his logo on the back sculpted than just painted on it. He also has his awesome knee tattoo on his right knee. Not to mention this figurine of him even showcases his beard, which none of his figures have featured yet. He also has his name on a sticker and the felt on the bottom of his display stand.

Overall, Pete is nice and the detail is really impressive on his vest especially. I like that they sculpted the logo on the back than just painted it on. If you’re a fan of Pete I recommend picking this one up, too!

Shinsuke Nakamura

Lastly for the figurines we have Nakamura, which may be one of my favorites of this little batch. He’s wearing his Michael Jackson “Thriller” type outfit while doing his “Come On” taunt where he wiggles his fingers and yells. I think it’s awesome they captured this look for him as the detail is nice and his pose truly represents him besides his typical lean back pose on the ropes. That being said, the detail is really prevalent throughout, from his mouth guard to his outfit. Not to mention the likeness is pretty good, too! He also has his name on a sticker underneath his stand along with some felt on the bottom.

Overall, this Nakamura figurine is great. I know he’s gotten stale as of late but this figurine captures him well. Plus they made him in one of his cooler outfits, which makes it stand out to me. If you like Nakamura I’d recommend this one too as it’s pretty sweet.

The WWE Ring

The moment most have all been waiting for, the WWE Ring! People have been waiting for this to release for a long time now as it was promised as part of the subscription awhile back. It is finally ready and I must say while it is a cool display piece, it might be a bit challenging to assemble. They have you buy two so you can build a full ring for display purposes as people may display them in a detolf for storage purposes.

That being said, you can display a mini half ring or a full ring. The rings come with two panels that go on the long sides (if you build the half ring) or all four sides (if you build the full ring). The panels cover the other holes where you build the small ring and help hold the big ring together. The only problem I noticed with this as there’s nothing to fasten it together underneath, so I used some scotch tape in the meantime.

Overall, the ring is nice, whether half or full, but the posts are fragile. I snapped one of the posts trying to assemble it as the holes on parts of it, mine at least, were not very giving so it was a struggle. The stickers with the WWE Championship Collection logos are optional based on your personal taste. The ropes are also elastic and the turnbuckles can extend to help support the ropes. I noticed the rings come with some less-elastic ropes, which as I used, as the elastic ones seemed way too strong for the ring. These, unfortunately, hang a bit loose and look odd so there’s no winning situation. Perhaps I assembled it incorrectly but it’s something to be aware of. Just be very patient as it’s a bit fragile!

Overall

Overall, this latest batch was pretty good! I highly recommend the 2-pack as that’s probably my favorite of all the ones here. Of course depending on who you like will dictate who you buy as well unless you have their subscription. If you choose to get any remember you can use code ZONE to save you some money at checkout!
