In a recently reported news by eWn, 2K has launched the much-anticipated ‘ECW Punk Pack’ for WWE 2K24. This gaming pack features wrestling superstars including CM Punk, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, The Sandman, and Terry Funk, as well as an extensive catalogue of MyFaction content.
CM Punk, one of the wrestlers featured in the game, dropped a promotional video on Instagram, giving players a preview of the downloadable content (DLC) where he is one of the playable characters.
The Second City Saint, in his characteristic light-hearted manner, poked fun at his fellow wrestler, Drew McIntyre, in the social media post. He expressed,
“Good news, everybody. Finally, the fans can play as CM Punk in WWE 2K24. It’s creating quite a buzz online, and I have no doubt Drew McIntyre’s glued to his screen. I’ve been included in the Punk Pack, alongside some hardcore legends from ECW like the Dudleyz, Sandman, and the ultimate hardcore legend, Terry Funk. Now, Drew, knowing very well you’re online, you can finally play as your favourite wrestler and individual, yours truly, CM Punk. Am wishing you a truly rotten day, pal.”
