Chris Jericho Says AEW Isn’t At War With Other Companies, Can Learn From WCW
Chris Jericho may have had a busy week with the television debut of AEW Dynamite, but that doesn’t mean the superstar didn’t have time to do other activities. At New York Comic-Con 2019, the AEW World Champion talked about what AEW can learn from other wrestling companies, namely WCW, and how he doesn’t feel like AEW is at war with any company.
When it came to AEW being at war, Jericho said (via Cageside Seats) that he doesn’t feel the company needs to compete with anyone, bringing up WCW as a company to learn from.

Jericho also touched on how the fans feel about AEW, and how the fans watching the company build itself up from their first day has added a special sense of community.

Finally, Jericho touched on the fact that he occasionally still texts with folks from the WWE, and Vince McMahon as well, and he also discussed how AEW will make sure to include comedic elements and not be fully focused on the sport of professional wrestling.
