Winter is here but the hot stove is heating up. MLW’s talent relations department, which is in the midst of a significant overhaul, has been active in discussions with several high-profile free agents.

Expect some big news to drop this week that could instantly impact the league and all shows going forward.”

AEW wrestler Chris Jericho responded to a fan on Twitter who opined that now would be a good time for The Lionheart to take time off from television as his Golden Jets tag team partner Kenny Omega has been sidelined indefinitely due to diverticulitis.

Jericho wrote, “Great idea! See ya on Wednesday….”

Jericho and Omega were previously scheduled to challenge Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW World Tag Team Championships this week.

Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling has announced that former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho will be making her TJPW return on January 4 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

This will be Riho’s first appearance in TJPW since Wrestle Princess III over a year ago.

Riho will wrestle Ruby Soho tomorrow night on AEW Dynamite.

AEW has announced that Swerve Strickland will be partaking in a special community event on January 8, 2024.

Swerve will be answering questions and discussing his creative endeavors outside the ring.
