Earlier this year, Cedric Alexander found himself amongst a number of professional wrestlers who were discharged by WWE. Elektra Lopez, Isla Dawn, AOP (comprising of Rezar and Akam) and their manager Paul Ellering, as well as Blair Davenport experienced a similar fate. WWE also decided to end its professional tie with Sonya Deville as the company opted against renewing her contract.

According to the sources of Fightful Select, there was a buzz within AEW fraternity about the prospect of The Hurt Syndicate championing the signing of Alexander. Nevertheless, the inclination of Tony Khan, the potential decision maker, towards this potential recruitment remains undisclosed.

The future plan of Alexander includes his scheduled appearance at the event ‘Ready or Not!’ hosted by United Pro Wrestling. The show is slated for May 10 in New Bern, North Carolina. Other personalities scheduled to feature in this event include Savannah Evans and Maya World.

The identity of the opponent Alexander is set to face in the upcoming event remains a mystery.
