CBS Sports recently unveiled their 2019 Wrestling Awards, and while a handful of worthy superstars came away as winners, it was Adam Cole who won Wrestler of the Year. Cole’s rise through the ranks of NXT has been incredible, and as he continues to climb, it’s only a matter of time before he breaks into the WWE.
When asked about winning the award, Cole was happy, noting that it was an incredible year for him. “It’s really cool when you think back on all the cool stuff that has gone on for me this year, and you reflect back on all the big matches and moments,” said Cole. “To close it out with something like this and being announced the wrestler of the year, that’s about as cool as it gets.”
