Brian Pillman Jr. was “flyin'” on last night’s AEW Dark as he made his All Elite debut against Shawn Spears in singles action. Pillman did suffer the pinfall loss but the Rogue Prince has plans to compete once more under the AEW banner:
I may have lost my #AEWDark debut match but I took a STEEL slug straight to the head and got back up to fight again another day!!! I will continue to take shot after shot and get back up every single time! I am hungry, I am determined, I am #bulletproof,” Pillman said in one Tweet before sharing how to purchase his new tee for the summer, which pays homage to his Hall of Fame father.
“This won’t be my last opportunity in an AEW ring! Every time I step into that ring is a chance to show my worth, a CHALLENGE that I will rise to! Stay tuned for my next challenge and in the mean time stay fresh with a cool summer tee!”

Before his Dark debut, questions were surrounding if Pillman still had a remaining presence in MLW after pictures surfaced of him attending AEW Fyter Fest last week. Pillman originally wished Major League Wrestling all the best in a statement to WrestleTalk, but then MLW issued their own statement saying that he was not released by the promotion.
