Brandi Rhodes Comments On Her Pregnancy: We Are Ready

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Brandi Rhodes and Cody shared with the world that they are expecting their first child in 2021.
The announcement, which was made through a touching vignette that would see them reveal little Gucci shoes for the baby along with a wooden Christmas ornament announcing being new additions to the family, received praise and congratulations from many in the world of wrestling.
Speaking exclusively with People magazine, Brandi Rhodes revealed that she and Cody are very excited for this next chapter in their lives and they are ready for parenthood in the coming year.
“Cody and I are so excited and overwhelmed by this news,” Brandi tells PEOPLE. “We’ve had seven exciting years of marriage, worked together to grow our careers and our core at AEW from the ground up, and now here we are embarking on another incredible chapter.”
“We have always talked about it as a future, and it turns out that the future is now,” she adds. “It’s surreal that parenthood is right around the corner! We are ready and excited to dive right in.”
On Twitter, Cody would say that regardless of the gender, he hopes the baby comes out looking like Brandi before praising the mother-to-be once again.
