You’re likely to know already: WrestleMania 42 is due to be hosted by New Orleans in the magnificent Caesars Superdome, stretched across Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2026.

This was publicly revealed during the WWE SmackDown episode aired on February 21st, featuring none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

WWE’s anticipated return to New Orleans for WrestleMania 42 was a topic of discussion in a recent episode of the popular “Hall of Fame” podcast, hosted by Booker T. A few points of interest from the podcast are highlighted below:

Voicing his opinion on WrestleMania 42 taking place in New Orleans, Booker T said, “I’ll tell you right now, no better place than New Orleans to host WrestleMania. Why? The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is a beast of a venue—can’t get much better than that. Well, technically there are better places but it’s hard to beat the energy of the Superdome. More than anything, my memories of WrestleMania in New Orleans are centered around the unbelievable food. That week alone, I reckon I packed on eight to 10 pounds, no lies here folks! Sharmell and I indulged in a culinary fiesta every night in New Orleans. Eagerly looking forward to that.”

Speaking of the dynamic between WWE and TNA, he said, “I’m all for this ongoing association between TNA and WWE. I think it’s something that we’ve been needing to see for a while now. Or maybe, this is just the ideal time for it to come to fruition.”
