In the latest episode of his podcast “My World”, former professional wrestler Jeff Jarrett shed light on several topics, including the legacy of Eddie Gilbert, the sensational topic involving Jerry Lawler, and more.

Here are some excerpts from Jarrett’s podcast discussion:

When asked about Eddie Gilbert, Jarrett shared, “I recognize his contributions. I understand how he was ahead of his time and how his perspective was different. Consider his creative ideas, the mindset. He comes from a wrestling background, all facts about his shared history with my grandfather and more. I consider myself fortunate to know the real Eddie Gilbert.”

Regarding the intriguing incident where Gilbert and his sibling ran over Jerry Lawler with a car, Jarrett revealed, “It was twisted. It’s hard to rationalize the irrational aspects of our business. So imagine this, wrestling professionals, we’re aggravated with the TV station staff as they were appalled by the mock-up of an attempted murder happening in their car park. You have to grasp this; as a wrestling company, people like my father, Jerry Lawler, Eddie Marlin, Eddie Gilbert, and myself, are annoyed with Channel Five because a staged hit and run occurred in their parking lot. They were upset as they weren’t informed about this stage act. This reflects the unconventional perspective from our side.”
