Booker T believes Mick Foley is on point with his assessment in his “WWE – We Have A Problem” video. On the most recent episode of “The Hall of Fame” Booker T and co-host Brad Gilmore watched the straight-forward clip issued by Foley on Facebook in which he stated that WWE is becoming less of a place where stars aspire to be.
“I cannot disagree with Mick Foley on anything, smart dude,” Booker said to Gilmore before further putting over the Hardcore Legend’s intelligence and experience.
“Coming from Mick Foley, you gotta take it and, say, ‘Okay, lemme take a look into this.'”
“Right now, AEW is in it’s infancy stages, but you got a lot of young kids the first time they’re watching professional wrestling. The first wrestling they’re seeing, it may be not be WWE, it may be AEW and if you’re not thinking about that kind of stuff, that kind of generational gap, like I said, you might be missing the boat.”
“As far as what Mick Foley said, as far as the Karrion Kross thing, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’ How many times have I said that? If it’s working, you don’t touch it! You leave it alone! If you enhance it, you enhance it, make it better, but you don’t take anything away, that’s just my opinion.”
“I don’t know, I agree with Mick Foley 100%. We gotta get our ass in gear, bottom line.”
