In a recent conversation on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Gunn discussed his role in AEW and indicated that he has no plans to retire anytime soon.

On how his role evolved in AEW: “When I joined AEW, my role was initially more on the coaching side… However, before I knew it, I was participating in every show and engaging with the kids. I deeply enjoy coaching, so I was doing that and the next thing I know… I’m right back in the thick of things, involved in the trios stuff. I’m not a guy that retires. I just don’t… I wouldn’t, it would just drive me crazy.”
