WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins is banned from watching the episode of Celebrity Jeopardy featuring his wife Becky Lynch.
Lynch’s infamous appearance on the hit game show saw The Man give 0 correct answers, a first in the history of Jeopardy.
On a recent edition of the “Sports Illustrated Media” podcast, Rollins spoke about his wife’s time on Celebrity Jeopardy. He said,
“She never watched it. She’s from Ireland. She didn’t have Jeopardy growing up. I don’t think she fully grasps it. When we were younger especially, it’s just massive. Our parents, grandparents everybody watched it. The buzzer’s tricky, the way you have to answer the questions is tricky.
“But hey! top top-rated episode of the season. The repeat actually did more viewers, we found out yesterday, than the original airing of the episode. So the buzz that she got, Celebrity Jeopardy people gotta be thrilled.
“I didn’t watch the episode. She wouldn’t allow me to watch the episode. She said ‘You can’t watch the episode. No way. Can’t do it. Don’t watch it.’ [So] I didn’t do it. I’m a loyal man. I wouldn’t do that to her. If she didn’t want me to watch something. I wouldn’t watch it.”
While Lynch did not do well on Jeopardy, she has had a sense of humor about this. During a recent WWE live event, Lynch held a fan’s sign mocking her game show performance.
Lynch would have better luck on a WWE edition of The Weakest Link, as she was the strongest link for four rounds and answered ten questions correctly in a row.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently revealed that he is banned from watching the episode of Celebrity Jeopardy featuring his wife, Becky Lynch. Lynch’s appearance on the popular game show made headlines as she became the first contestant in the history of Jeopardy to not answer any questions correctly.
During an interview on the “Sports Illustrated Media” podcast, Rollins explained that Lynch, being from Ireland, did not grow up watching Jeopardy and therefore didn’t fully grasp the game’s format. He mentioned that Jeopardy was a massive show in their household when they were younger, with everyone from their parents to grandparents tuning in. Rollins also acknowledged that the buzzer and the way you have to answer the questions can be tricky.
Despite Lynch’s lackluster performance, her episode of Celebrity Jeopardy turned out to be the top-rated episode of the season. In fact, the repeat airing of the episode garnered even more viewers than the original airing. Rollins mentioned that the buzz surrounding Lynch’s appearance must have pleased the producers of the show.
Rollins admitted that he respected Lynch’s wishes and did not watch the episode. He emphasized his loyalty to his wife, stating that if she didn’t want him to watch something, he wouldn’t do it. Although Lynch may not have done well on Jeopardy, she has maintained a sense of humor about it. At a recent WWE live event, she held a fan’s sign that mocked her game show performance.
In contrast to her Jeopardy experience, Lynch had better luck on a WWE edition of The Weakest Link. She proved to be the strongest link for four rounds and answered ten questions correctly in a row.
